Exceptional Property and Staff

Just finished a stay the St. Regis Istanbul and I must say, everything was 10/10. The rooms and common areas exuded contemporary luxury, which provides a nice juxtaposition against the city's age. It's not the Ottoman decor that one might expect in Türkiye, but rather supremely comfortable modern day luxury that you might imagine James Bond's flat to look like. I'm staying at the Four Seasons Sultanahmet next week to get a taste of more traditional feel for the city, but for this part of the trip this hotel provided everything I could possibly ask for. The bedding is sublime and the spa is magnificent - I would highly recommend a treatment, especially with Yohanna - she has magic hands. The spa has individual pools that you can book out for privacy as well. By far, the greatest asset to this property is the incredible staff. The butler service was ACTUAL St. Regis butler service. Among the many St Regis properties I have stayed at (including NYC flagship), butler service has been an absolute joke. At best you'll get a lazy and cursory introduction at check in, maybe 50% of the time and they will positively do their best to show you an utter lack of enthusiasm and apathy. This property however, clearly TRAINED their butlers. Unobtrusive, polite beyond reproach and wanting to assist in any and every possible way. They almost seemed disappointed when I didn't have clothes some days for my complimentary garment pressing! Whomever trained this staff needs a raise. Every single one, from concierge to the doormen always met us with a smile, kind words and unfailing service. Special recognition to Eran at the front desk who was lovely and went out of his way to make us feel like we were at home. Above and beyond. I'm sure he'll be General Manager one day, for he deserves it - hospitality is clearly deep within his nature. Amazing people, amazing property, amazing stay. Thank you St Regis Istanbul! Get pampered to the Max at the St Regis Istanbul.

I travel a lot for business as well as for pleasure. The luxury that I experienced at St Regis Istanbul, is one of the top levels I ever experienced. Great location in a quiet residencial area, and just 10 min with cab to downtown. Most of the staff knew/used my name whenever I meet them in the hotel. The Butler service is very efficient and always helpful and more then willing to assist. Now to the food: It was worth visiting Istanbul, just for St Regis kitchen. Besides the generous breakfast, I had one lunch and two dinner at their Brasserie. The taste-sensation by each course that was served, was something extraordinary. A true top notch cuisine. The Chef himself, often came out to make sure the food was to my liking. And there was nothing that they could not prepare or serve. When I ordered the tenderloin to be medium-well, "but slightly more to the medium..."; the kitchen ensured that the exact temperature of the meat was served on my plate. All in all; it was worth an extra trip to Istanbul, just to stay at the St Regis.
