AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The receptionist went into our room & stole our money from the safe box & to the room across from us & stole money from their bag. Hotel didn’t do a single thing about it claiming that it’s not their responsibility. They are all a bunch of thieves

One of the worst hotel experiences of my life – unsafe and unprofessional

I chose this hotel because they advertised parking. At check-in, the receptionist was friendly and even walked with me to show a spot. It was full, so he took me to Eymen Park Hotel, about 140m away. He spoke with someone inside and assured me I could leave the car there if I placed the hotel’s business card and his phone number on the dashboard. He guaranteed there would be no problem. Around 11 pm he called and told me I had to move the car because a Renault was blocked. I had already noticed this earlier and asked if it was okay, and he said yes. Out of respect, I went down immediately. The driver was already furious at reception, while the receptionist stayed behind and never came with me. When I reached my car, the blocked driver turned aggressive. As I tried to get in, he held the door wide open and would not let me close it. He demanded 200 Turkish lira before allowing me to move, claiming it was illegal to park there. I only understood this demand after one of the young people nearby translated, because he could not speak English and only shouted aggressively. He slammed the door several times, hit the mirror so hard it flipped over, and even kicked the car. He grabbed my face, tried to trip me, and humiliated me in front of everyone. Thanks to two young people in the area, I managed to get out of the situation, one translated his nonsense, and the other convinced him to step back and finally closed the door for me. Without them, this would have ended much worse, for him 🙃 The hotel staff failed completely. They arranged this parking, assured me it was safe, and then abandoned me to harassment, extortion, and violence. Their negligence directly exposed me to danger. This was one of the worst hotel experiences in my life. I sincerely thank those young people for helping me. This property is unsafe, unprofessional, and irresponsible. I will make sure this review appears on every platform that chooses to list such a disgrace as a hotel.
