Decent Sleeping

A comfortable sleep with clean facilities and hot water, so this may be all you need in Trabzon. The WiFi is inconsistent. Breakfast is decent, and you're within walking distance of the city center (though it's uphill going).

A Place to sleep, but that's it

First impressions were that the place seemed very cozy with its central location and a small park that is in front of the hotel. However, expectations were subverted as the place seemed different than the pictures - the large area in front of the houses was redecorated to fit the numerous weddings that take place during the summer. It was a bit crammed walking to the rooms, but nothing major. It was also quite hard to communicate with the manager as he preferred Turkish as opposed to English. Our rooms were quite nice as it had two rooms and then a small living room, where we could all play cards. The beds are comfy, but we did not really have a duvet, so we choose to use a thin blanket. The AC is very good and the rooms are nice and cool at night, so we always woke up well-rested, but if there is weeding, do not expect sleep till after 10 as the weedings can be very loud. However, a somewhat annoying inconvenience was the hotel WIFI because it was very unreliable and often we had to resort to using our own data rather than the WIFI. The breakfast is very disappointing because the breakfast plates are pre-made a day or more in advance and then stored in the fridge until served. The breakfast plates are always the same every day with very monotone components - we were a bit let down to see a lack of enthusiasm because there were so many ways that the breakfast could have been elevated. Overall, the place is good for sleeping as it has a very good central location, but we were let down as we had high hopes for this hotel. We are not going to be staying here again.
